Yin yoga traditionally brings a more restorative approach to your practice. Our new 60 minute Thursday evening ‘New Yin’ is designed to deliver the same physiological results while adding an active, physical dimension for students who need a little more. 

New Yin is for everyone and you’ll always be in total control. Whether you are a beginner who wants a balanced physical challenge, an active fitness lover who previously found traditional Yin too slow, or someone carrying a nagging injury. This class is built for you all.
 
New Yin smoothly blends active movements you regulate, to deep stillness. Give your body the ultimate balance, building muscular strength first, then targeting deep tissue mobility. 
Begin with gentle, active movements and familiar muscle-warming yoga poses to build heat, awaken your stabilising muscles, and increase circulation. It’s a deliberately planned sequence preparing your body for the second half of the journey, complete with dimmed lights to amplify the calming environment.
Those poses are held for several minutes, using props to provide restorative support and melt away deep-seated tension. This targeted process expands your range of motion, hydrates your joints, and triggers an absolute reset for your nervous system.
Science shows that active recovery, gentle targeted movement that keeps nutrient-rich blood flowing, accelerates the healing process much faster than complete rest. Our internationally accredited teachers will guide you through the sequence, offering physical modifications at every step. If something doesn’t feel right, you are entirely free to modify or skip it.
Each week will feature a specific anatomical theme or focus area. Every session is a complete, top-to-bottom conditioning experience.

Some students love to compliment their more active Mukti 60 or Flow 60 class with a Yin 60 as a back to back experience. The studio offers these consecutive evening classes on the timetable at different times of the year.

Each class in our boutique studio will be a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We offer several different styles of yoga – Mukti, Yin, Flow and Yoga Nidra. In each class our certified teachers guide students through a specific series of postures designed to balance and improve the health of the entire body and mind.
